Book Description

Annie Logan and her band, White Rush, have been waiting years for their big break. Taking a last chance at stardom, Annie enters them into a ‘battle of the bands contest’ and wins an opportunity to perform with the legendary rock band, Thrust. This twist of fate puts Annie on a collision course with her larger-than-life rock hero, the infamous guitar God, Michael Wade. Annie’s model good looks and Michael’s dangerously raw rock ‘n’ roll swagger are like a burning fuse on a stick of dynamite. Would she be the woman to finally tame Michael’s wild ways and show him the true meaning of love or would the gritty reality of the music industry prove to be more than she could handle? A wild ride behind the scenes, Sheet Music will give you a backstage pass into the rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle full of egos, excess and extremes; where sometimes even true soul mates aren’t strong enough to survive the heat of the spotlight.

Synopsis
The first time Adeline Ivey danced into my life, high on ecstasy instead of life, was at the party before the kickoff of our seventh tour. I spotted her out on the lawn, a gorgeous girl spinning around in circles with her arms wide and a big smile directed at the Los Angeles sky.

We shared an insane summer on the road, surrounded by sex, drugs, and rock n' roll—a combination that could only end in disaster.

That was ten years ago. The world has forgotten Lincoln Hayes, rock god and guitarist in Path of Destruction. As the date of my parole hearing approaches, I'm nothing but a number in the system of the Michigan Department of Corrections. And as much as I want to forget the events of that summer and move on, the girl I can't get out of my head is trying to make an encore appearance in my life.

Lincoln Hayes
She was damned beautiful, still.
I folded my arms over my chest, my knee bouncing. I sat like some slouch, and she was as stiff as a stick. Still talking. Her lips moved. Every now and then, she'd lick them, and I tilted my head. In a past life, I'd pushed my cock between those lips.
She shifted in her seat and sat a bit straighter. "I'm asking for permission. I know I don’t need it, but—"
"No, you really don’t," I replied flatly. Why she wanted to write our train wreck of a story was beyond me. I shrugged. "You said it'd be anonymous."
"No names," she confirmed. "No details that would give anyone up, nothing that led up to…" She gave the room a glance and winced.
I stared at her. "You can say prison, Ade."

"Destruction! Destruction! Destruction!"
The Forum in LA was alive tonight.
Mikey got behind the drums, his kid brother having taken care of soundcheck. We were getting lazy. Everything was handed to us. Tony followed, zipping up his leathers after a pre-show blow job. A roadie handed him his guitar. Then Sam joined, and we were ready.
"Destruction! Destruction! Destruction!"
I drained my beer and threw it somewhere behind the amps.
The second I hit the first chord, the arena erupted in cheers, screams, and stomping feet. I repeated the six-note lick a few times, teasing the audience. The buzz coursed through me and mingled with the coke; these days, it was the only way I knew I was alive. It put a grin on my face, and my heart pumped blood through my system, offering a moment where I was fucking ecstatic. A moment where these shitheads weren't so shitty, after all. Maybe I even loved them for seeing me as a god who could do no wrong.

"Can I come with you on tour?" I asked casually. "When are you leaving, again?" Men like it when you don't want it. "I mean, I wouldn’t sleep with you," I tossed out flippantly. Lying through my teeth.
That crashed and burned. He didn’t see a challenge. "Don't worry, I don’t fuck twelve-year-olds."
"Ouch." Except, it didn’t hurt at all. "I'm eighteen, numbnuts." I sat up in the grass, my hair spilling down my front.
"Do you even know what to do with a cock?"
"I suck it like a lollipop." I showed my palms, a lazy grin on my face. "Sorry, no virtue to protect."
He merely laughed, and I bit my lip and scrunched my nose. So…? Was he gonna let me tag along? A girl had to know. Then he nodded and stood up.
"The bus is at the Beverly Wilshire. Be there at seven AM and ask for Lincoln."
He started walking away while I did a little shimmy in the grass. Fuck yes, I was going on tour. More importantly, I was leaving the West Coast! That made me giggle, but I stopped when I had another question.
"Who's Lincoln?" I called after him.
He flicked his cigarette into the pool. "The guy whose cock you'll suck like a lollipop."

2007
It messed with me, having a fresh memory of Lincoln.
In the last decade, he'd become more and more a ghost. A twinge that tugged at me every now and then, or visited me when I slept. Now there was the crystal-clear image of his face and hardened features, his body in that navy blue, scrub-like prison uniform, and fuck-off attitude. He despised me.
"Where's Abel?" Jesse asked quietly.
"Not home from school yet." I walked over to him and rubbed his neck gently. "You look more and more like your father every day. You know that?"
He smiled faintly and closed his eyes. "I miss him."
"Me, too." I refused to get emotional. In front of Jesse and his little brother, I had to remain strong.

About the Author
There aren't many things better than picking up my Kindle and getting completely sucked into a whole new world—where words morph into images and characters' moods suddenly reflect my own. Aside from good plot and writing, for me, it boils down to relatable characters.

As a writer, I'm not finished until the men and women in my books come to life, until I can see them as real people, until I can connect with them. Which means I write what I want to read: everyday heroes and heroines who have the same struggles we all do. They evolve, have flaws, make mistakes and amends, learn, and find the endings they fight for.

Those are the characters who take the readers on a journey away from work, laundry, grocery shopping, and to-do lists.

When I'm not writing, researching, or brainstorming, I'm either planning my next trip (never-ending bucket list!), reading, watching hockey, or spending time with family and friends.

Review Tour for Praying for Dawn by Autumn Winchester

Praying for Dawn
by
Autumn Winchester
A simple girl.
A simple man.
Both brought together in the most unexpected way.
On her fourteenth birthday, Dawn was kidnapped by a close family friend and forced into a brutal sex trafficking ring. Will a perfect stranger be the answer to her prayers?
In this modern-day mafia novel, Elijah finds his long-lost childhood love. He vows to do anything to prove to her that nothing is simply black and white.
Excerpt
I looked behind us, seeing a black car following us. The same black car I had seen a few other times, but never really thought anything about it. I had seen it at the front gate the day of the trial, and I made sure to stay away from the windows that day, and the days following. A few times that we had been out around town, I had seen it across the street in places that we parked. Picking up his own phone, he called Kaleb, telling him where we were, and to track the car’s location, as he took turns that lead us away from his parents. He slowly sped up, increasing his speed. His voice was rough with nerves, and possibly thrill. He was a FBI agent, and from what I had seen on TV, they like the feel of chases, but usually the rules were reversed. “I’m going to take you back home, and have Joslyn keep Lizzy,” Elijah said, taking a sharp turn around a corner as the car behind us caught up to us. Elijah answered, sending a bolt of fear down my spine. “Hang on.” There wasn’t really much to hang onto, as he turned another corner, peeling out as the back tires screeched before he gunned it again, going down a different road. I gripped the handle on the door with one hand, and with the other I grabbed onto the seat belt as I was roughly forced to the side as he turned the corner. Both my hands were white as I held on for what felt like my life. Once he got the car was straightened out, another car came out of the trees, fast, hitting us on the front fender sideways, causing us to swerve off the road and into a ditch and rolling once. My head hit the side door window. We were going too fast for Elijah to brake safely to try to slow the collusion. The white airbags blew, hitting me in the face and blocking my vision from the front and side. Everything began to blur together. The sound of the front window breaking reached my ears with the impact as the car rolled on its side. The roof gave in against the ground. The thud as the other side flipped over. The car bounced, once, twice, before stopping, motionless. My heart pounded, and I could feel a trickle of blood down the side of my face. The last thing I heard before everything went dark, was Elijah. “Shit!”

This is my first book by Autumn Winchester.
This book has triggers with abuse, but she handled it so eloquently that it left me hurting for these characters as they were on their journey to their love story. I felt like I was there with them.
The characters were well developed and complex. The storyline was weaved around you as layers upon layers were applied, so as not to feel rushed or the subject matter not taken seriously.
I can't wait to read more by Autumn and this book was refreshing and well executed which is something I have been lacking in the books I've read lately.
Well Done.

Even Jeremy would be shocked if he found out, but what do you do when you fall in love with the one person the one person you were never supposed to need.

Story Contains:
M/M sexual content of a taboo nature that some readers may find objectionable. P
lease read the sample or check out the Author's Facebook page for a larger excerpt.

***Author’s Note***
When I finished writing Too Close To Love, the story seemed done in my head. It wasn’t until my beta reader and editor both started shaking their fingers at me and demanding to know what happened next that I realized there was more to their story.
Too Close To Love ends in a HFN (almost HEA) with no cliffhanger, but if you like their story and want to read more about them then it will continue in Too Close To Hide which is already written and will be released in March 2017.

I enjoyed this book. Taboo subject matter does not bother me. This author handles it in a loving, emotional manner. There is no crudeness, but rather a slow build up. Even though it is taboo, it can't help, but happen. The character developement is excellent and the story kinda draws you in and before I knew it I was so immersed in the storyline and emotions that I read the book in one sitting. This was my first book by M.A. Innes, but I can't wait to read more!

M.A. Innes is the pseudonym for bestselling author Shaw Montgomery. While Shaw writes Femdom and M/M Erotic Romance, M.A. Innes is the side of Shaw that wants to write about topics that are more taboo.

Shaw loves reading, traveling, and family. While not necessarily in that order, they all rank pretty close. Shaw has lived all over the United States and even Germany. While the coast of North Carolina is a favorite place, Shaw currently lives in the Western United States. Current wish list of places to travel to are Australia, Ireland, and Scotland, although the list keeps growing almost daily.
Shaw reads an eclectic mix of genres; everything from Mystery and Sci-Fi Space Westerns, to traditional Romance and all kinds of Erotica. Currently the stories in Shaw’s head are Femdom and M/m taboo romance, but there are some
Sci-Fi/Fantasy that can’t wait to come out as well.

LIVE - Can't Stop Fate by Debra Kayn

CSF_AvailableBannerCSF1000
Title: Can't Stop Fate
Series: Ronacks Motorcycle Club #4
Author: Debra Kayn
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: February 14
Goodreads
Synopsis
Mel Davis pledged his life to Ronacks Motorcycle Club as a sixteen-year-old runaway. He's committed his share of crimes through the years as he went from prospect to lifer, but none more dangerous than falling in love with Raelyn and her son, Dukie. Then, one night, he makes a decision that will forever change his life. And, he has no one else to blame but himself.

Five years after the death of her husband, Raelyn Williams has settled into managing the club-owned Pine Bar & Grill. The love, support, and protection she receives from Ronacks while being a single mom raising the son of a deceased Ronacks member provides her with everything she needs. Until, her wild mom, eccentric Grandma June, and her younger brother arrive at the bar out of the blue in a beat-up motorhome, complicating her life and disrupting her safe haven. Maybe their craziness is rubbing off on her because she suddenly finds Mel too sexy, too tempting, too dangerous.

There's no way she'll compromise herself by getting involved with another biker again. The club always comes first, and it only takes one dangerous activity for her to lose another person she loves.

She won't do it.

She can't.

Excerpt
Raelyn glanced at Mel once she sat behind the desk, putting space between her and the biker. Lately, she'd become aware of depending on him too much. The feelings he evoked in her were too appealing and reminded her of how it was to be married. Even the frustration of never knowing when he'd show up. If he'd be late coming home. Or, how he knew exactly how to push her buttons.
At six foot two inches tall, a solid two hundred pounds, Mel had practically grown up with her during her twenties. He was three years younger than her, and during her marriage, she'd viewed him as an irresponsible man who partied hard, wasted his money, and used his status within the club to get his fill of women. But, during the time she'd grieved for Duke, had her son on her own, Mel had stepped forward and looked out for her. Though some days it felt like they'd gone in too different of directions to remain friends.
She became needier. He became more responsible.
Mel sat down on the couch in her office and stretched his legs. She bit her lip taking in his muscled thighs. He'd come back from his run with the club heavily whiskered and even more appealing. If it were only the fact that she was sex deprived and she found Mel sexy, she would've dealt with the problem months ago. Maybe even years ago.
At thirty-one years old, her brain told her she was still young enough to go out and find a good guy to fall in love with, who would be a good father for Dukie and settle down to enjoy a good life as a small family. Her heart told her that she had the best family already and not to wish for more or risk everything she had in her life. The Ronacks Motorcycle Club provided her with everything she needed. If she married outside the club, she'd lose the security they provided.
She shook the hair out of her face. Except, sex. God, she missed sex.
